Cos I have earned a friend in you.

In silly banters and endless mischief,

The master in crime was definitely you.

How do I tell you all I wish,

We stay the same, despite every blue.

Unsaid words and unshed tears,

One who understood was only you.

How do I tell you my only fear,

Is being estranged, left with just memories of you.

Through thick and thin, through tears and smiles,

My unwavering support was always you.

How do I tell you all my prayers,

Are incomplete without the mention of you.

With all my flaws and all my scars,

One who embraced me was only you.

How do I tell you, I’d forever cherish,

Every moment spent with you.

Words fall short, descriptions fail,

Cos the hardest thing is describing you.

How do I tell you, I’ve got so much to say,

But all I can say is, thank you for being you.
